Besides being an awesome DJ and pretty cool business owner, Elite’s CEO, Mike Walter, has a passion for music. He loves the background stories of how bands were formed, how songwriters get their ideas for songs and how iconic albums like The Wall and Sgt Peppers were created.  And that’s how he came up with his brand new book On This Date In Music.  The book has 366 chapters (one for every day of the year including February 29th) about something important and interesting that happened on that date.  And Mike covers pretty much every genre, from oldies to disco to grunge and even some of today’s hits.  It’s the perfect book for any music lover and last week we celebrated its release with a party at the brand new Red Tank Brewery in Red Bank.  Mike did a reading and signed some books and we all got to hang out and socialize which is a nice break for us since we’re usually the ones entertaining rather than being entertained.
