Our very own Daniel Muellers offers this account of Sarah and Frank‘s wedding at Bayonet Farm in Holmdel. (all the photos in this blog are iPhone images)

Earlier in the week the weather forecast was looking grim. Thundershowers, 80 percent chance of rain, all to take place on Frank and Sarah’s big day. However, I put a few calls in and I told the weather to relax, and let’s move the rain to Sunday. The weather, as stubborn as it can be, begrudgingly agreed and we were given picturesque weather. 80 degrees, Sunny, and not a cloud in the sky.

Frankie and Sarah were married out front of the main barn, with Sarah’s brother David playing beautiful music as guests found their seats. Vows were exchanged, I love you’s were said, I even saw a couple people crying tears of joy. It was truly a hallmark moment. Cocktail hour took place behind the Red Barn. Guests were treated to delicious food and drink while enjoying games such as bag toss and giant jenga.

We introduced the newly married and filing jointly Frankie and Sarah to the Arcade Fire song “Wake Up” to all of their guests inside the Barn where all of the action would take place that night. Toasts were made by Frankie’s father Frank, his friend John and Sarah’s Brother David. The guests enjoyed a delicious buffet from Surf BBQ and drinks from the famous NJ brewery, Kane Brewing Co.
We opened the dance floor up and warmed up our guests with all of your classic hits from artists such as Whitney Houston, KC and the Sunshine Band, Bob Seger, Dion and the Belmonts, Sister Sledge etc etc.

In addition to celebrating Frankie and Sarah’s wedding, we also celebrated Sarah’s parent’s 50th wedding anniversary which was the night prior. We played “The Dance” by Garth Brooks as her parents took the spotlight for just a moment. Frankie and Sarah joined Sarah’s parent’s on the dance floor in front of all of their guests…..another Hallmark moment. As the rest of the guests joined the dance floor, the barn was packed and it was time to spend the next hour and a half working up a sweat, and we did. We went on a musical journey from the 70’s through the 80’s. We made a pit stop in the 90’s for some classic hiphop and dance tracks. As we approached peak party time the BPM was high and the dance floor was rocking, We had sing alongs, we had hand clappin, and we had a great time. We wrapped the night on a high note, sending out guests off to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” at the request of Frankie and Sarah.
Just another night in the life of an Elite DJ.
Cheers!
