It was our pleasure providing entertainment for Jackie and Victor at Breakers in Spring Lake.  Daniel Mueller was MC and DJ for the day and he files this report:

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Spring Lake. The weather was perfect 85 degrees with a cool sea breeze. Jackie and Victor had their ceremony on the balcony of the Breakers Hotel, with the picturesque Atlantic as their backdrop. The ceremony was attended by about 50 of their closest friends and family.

Following the brief ceremony, cocktail hour took place on the balcony as well. The attendee’s snacked on hors d’ouerves and took in a mix of summer sounds. We moved inside to the front room of The Breakers. The room overlooked the ocean and gave a very intimate feel. After introductions,  guests were seated and enjoyed the buffet and the signature cocktail, “Something Blue.” After they ate it was time to dance. We played just about every style of music ranging from Motown to funk to Latin flavored music. We had a conga line break out and the guests made the most of the small space. We also celebrated Jackie’s father (Richard McCormick) 81’s birthday and celebrated by playing his favorite O’Jay’s track.

We played the Electric Slide for Victor’s mom and the dance floor was packed. We even had to restart the song due to so many people trying to get on the dance floor to join in. After a little bit of reorganization we got back underway and it was smooth sailing for the rest of the afternoon.
