We held another one of our Private DJ Showcases recently. This one was at The Mill in Spring Lake. When our show was over and I was going around to different tables asking guests if they had any questions, one couple said to me, “this was such a fun night! We expected to see everything you had to offer but we didn’t expect to laugh and dance and have such a great time.”
That couple summed up perfectly what our goals are at our showcases. We’ve been doing Private Showcases like this for over a decade now. For years we did them in our backroom/warehouse but since we’ve moved out of that facility off Industrial Way and into a more intimate office (sans warehouse) we’ve gone back to holding these shows at different banquet halls in the area. And we look at these opportunities to do exactly what this couple complimented me on:
1 -We want to demonstrate everything we can offer brides and grooms.
2 – We want everyone in attendance to have fun.
When it comes to demonstrating what we can offer, we typically bring every possible upgrade so our guests can experience them first hand. At The Mill we had one of our photo booths operating, our up-lighting going and even one of our newest add-ons, a CO2 cannon which can enhance your grand introduction and provide some over-the-top excitement on the dance floor.
It’s a usual site at our showcases to have a packed dance floor and guests singing along at the top of their lungs. And as we point out, if we can get a room full of strangers to party like that (on a school night no less) imagine what we can do with a room full of your loved ones.
Another great part about our Private Showcases is the opportunity to sit and chat with one (or more) of our MCs before reserving them. I think every couple that booked their entertainment at The Mill did this. There is great peace of mind in not only seeing your future DJ and MC perform but then getting to sit with him and chat and realize they get your vision for your wedding day.
We plan these Showcases about once a quarter so if you are interested in attending a future event keep an eye out and follow us on social media. They are fun and informative nights and they can be very productive as you plan your wedding.
