What a pleasure it was to MC and DJ for Adam and Brittany this weekend.  They got married at the Maplewood Country Club and then, surrounded by their family and friends, threw an awesome celebration!

The theme “Ten Years in the Making” was heard often throughout the night.  Adam, in his wedding vows, mentioned it and Brittany’s father Tim also brought it up in his welcoming.  Plus Brittany and Adam had created a hashtag for the event, #10YearsInTheMakingBA so their guests could not forget.

I had attended a DJ conference a few weeks prior to this and heard one of my good friends, Randy Bartlett, talk about something he does at his weddings and so I decided to give it a try.  I recorded Brittany and Adam’s wedding vows and then my mixer Alex Cameron and I edited them together with the song they’d chosen as their last song of the night.  I was very happy with the result and uploaded it to my SoundCloud page.  You can hear it by clicking here.  I also recorded the set right after dinner and uploaded part of it so you can hear that by clicking right here.  This set started with a Hora. Coming out of that I did a half hour dance set then ended with the Tarantella. The mix you’ll hear is everything that was in between.
