We kicked off the 2012 showcasing season this Sunday with an American Bridal Show production at Merri-Makers banquet facility at The Arts Center (We’re old school New Jerseyans – we don’t call it the PNC Bank Arts Center.)

The show was packed which was a pleasant surprise since we were up against the New York Giants playoff game against The Falcons.  When Mike Walter opened up by asking all the newly engaged couples to give themselves a round of applause, and the response was thunderous, it had to make all the wedding professionals on hand feel optimistic. Our industry isn’t immune to the economic slump that has effected our nation so if things are indeed turning around, and more and more couples will be walking down the aisle in 2012 and 2013, that’s great news to every wedding vendor — especially those that take the time to come to a bridal show and meet prospective new clients.

This was our first showcase performance in over a month but we showed no signs of rust. Our opening and closing dances were tight and everyone’s individual song was very polished. As a team we believe in motivating each other so when one MC gets on the microphone and sounds great, it just inspires the rest of us.

We believe in the concept of showcasing and allowing brides and grooms to see us and hear us before they reserve us for their day.  So please,  check out our list of upcoming shows and make a reservation to come see us soon.
