Top New Songs of March 2016
By: DJ/MC Alex Cameron

March has just concluded and there are so many things coming up. Baseball season is around the corner. Summer is around the corner. And more importantly the biggest season of them all…WEDDING SEASON. If you’re getting closer to your wedding, I’ve got a few last minute songs to add to your request list. Here are some of the best new songs of March.

9.) Lights Come On By Jason Aldean
“Lights Come On” is a real fire-starter. If you’re a country fan, this song is right in your wheel house to get the party going.

8.) Never Be Like You feat. Kai by Flume
Flume is a fantastic future bass producer and he’s really taken off over the past couple of years. His sound is very underground but this song will make you bounce.

7.) Wasted Time by Keith Urban
It’s been a while since Keith Urban has released a song that gets me excited for summer. Wasted Time is a feel-good song with the perfect amount of banjo and guitar that all country fans will love. This song is another great addition to a country wedding and will not be a “waste of your time”.

6.) Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande just loves to make great music. Year after year she knows how to deliver. Her newest single is a great addition to any Doors Open Mix and the kids will definitely love this song.

5.) NO by Meghan Trainer
This made my list due to the fact that it’s a Meghan Trainer song. I appreciate Meghan as a singer/songwriter and experimenting with different genres but “Dear Future Husband” and “All About that Bass” should be her style. “NO” will still get the younger kids involved on the dancefloor.

4.) Panda by Desiigner
A fantastic song that has been blowing threw the charts in the past couple of weeks. Repetitious is clearly a trend in 2016. “Panda, panda, panda, panda.” Still a song that any Drake, Fetty Wap, or Kendrick Lamar fan will love.

3.) We Wanna Party feat. Savage by TJR
The “Don’t Stop the Party” producer has created another dance-floor anthem. This song is made of strawberries because IT’S MY JAM. All jokes aside, this song will literally make everyone want to “party”. Way to go TJR

2.) No Money by Galantis
One year ago, this rising EDM duo released their hit, “Runaway(U&I)”. This year’s hit for them is “No Money”. The song is nostalgic in a sense that we were all young at one point and still had a good time even if we didn’t have any money.

1.) Work From Home Feat. Ty Dolla $ign by Fifth Harmony
The “Worth It” girls are back with their new hit, “Work From Home”. This song has a steady beat and catchy lyrics. Work is another theme of 2016(Work by Rihanna). Currently sitting at the top of the Itunes’ charts, “Work From Home” is a great addition to any party!

My EDM Song of the Month:
Shadows of Love (feat. Heidi Rojas) by Sam Feldt
A very chilled-out tropical house song that makes me wish I was living on a tropical island somewhere. One of the official songs of Heineken also. An excellent addition to any beach-themed wedding!

My Mashup of the Month:
Call Me a Space Hero Maybe (ACAM Mashup)
This mashup is made by a really good DJ that works at Elite Entertainment. I think it’s the one that Whips and Nae Nae’s too much. This a high energy song that will get all the ladies singing to “Call Me Maybe” and “Heroes”.
